Designed for the beginner, this workshop allows the participant to learn the various tools used within the program to achieve a beginner to intermediate level in 2D graphics.
You are led at gentle pace through Photoshop to familiarise yourself with the various tools that are at your disposal. This will enable you to create, manipulate and save your digital images. Areas of this course will cover various features such as masking, selections, manipulation techniques plus more. These are all achieved with a 6:1 student to instructor ratio with fully supervised activities and at a gentle pace for the beginner.

So you’ve worked in Photoshop and think you know the ins and outs? Well lets put it to the test! Now you’re put through your paces in an intensive workshop filled with activities and tasks to learn the art of design techniques, selection, special effects, filters, masking and cutting out difficult images like a pro and finally how to work with layers to make your project so much easier.
This is not for the beginner however the intermediate student looking for the professional method for time effective designing or the budding designer wishing to advance there techniques beyond the basic borders of design and become familiar with the software and hidden powers of CS3.

Painting is often portrayed in the light of a blank canvass, paint brush and an easel.
Well this is the technological age, throw away the paint brush and break open the stylus as your going to learn how to create stunning digital master pieces on the computer with the aid of a drawing tablet.
Learning how to break the confines of flat images, you will learn how to create art through pen tools, brushes and the fine art of shadowing. This workshop is a two part series enabling you to free your imagination. Learn the art of sketching and continue all the way through to developing the skills to unlock the digital painting features hidden within Photoshop to create stunning art from the very beginning.
| Illustrator Introduction
An introduction to illustrator gives you a hands on and in-depth look at the tools, type and interface. This will give you the skills necessary to create vector art with professional industry software. You will learn how to use illustrator for various mediums and how to use the program to your advantage. Learn the various tools to perform tasks, colour management and time efficient skills for designing.
If you haven’t used illustrator before then this workshop allows you to experiment and familiarise yourself with the basic art of designing, using your tools correctly and the techniques to create your project.

The advanced workshop allows the artist or designer who has already familiarised themselves with Illustrator and is interested in the advancement of their skills in the product.
Concentrating on the technical side of colours, brushes, pen tools, masks and layers, as well as correct file management. This workshop will take you beyond the level of the novice and place you in the driving seat for well presented and professional completion of printed marketing material.

New to Flash? This workshop will enable you to learn the Flash environment and build your knowledge of best practice for hands on creation of Flash rich content. You will develop an interface using animation, sound, text and graphics while learning how to incorporate user interaction through basic ActionScript.
