Deckchair Cinema - New Website Open
The Deckchair Cinema is one of Darwin's greatest tourist attractions for a night under the stars. The outdoor setting allows visitors and locals to enjoy nature and have a meal before sitting back to enjoy the film.
The Deckchair Cinema is located at Jervois Road, off Kitchener Drive, Darwin Waterfront. The Darwin Film Society originally opened up the outdoor cinema in 1994 at the Stokes Hill Wharf, as its population grew they had to find a larger accommodation site and in 2003 it's current location was set up.
